More Facts about Planet X

There are many scientific facts that will happen in 2012. Such as those already mentioned here about sunspots etc. And a very peculiar alignment of the planets and something about the constellations I can't remember in details now, the pole shift on the sun etc. That aside, I've discovered on my own another interesting fact. The Mayan have a 5200 year cycle, which will reach the end at 2012. These cycles always signify something of great importance, major changes. I discovered that around 5200 years ago there was a great disaster on earth, a minor ice age and so on. Is that just coincidence, or did the Mayans actually know this and know that it will happen something major again in the end of the next cycle which is 2012?

And in this article the scientists say that we are close to another change like that which happened 5200 years ago... Again it matches perfectly with the Mayan prophecies. So, we should take the knowledge of the Mayans quite serious in my opinion. they knew what they were doing and thats a fact.

Also remember the great floods, past ice ages etc, that fits well with the Mayans cycles. Look them up, they have various cycles of different importance, going through many thousands of years. Actually they have cycles going millions of year back.

We just need to look at the current state of the world to see something is cooking (literally) - global warming, ice caps melting (which can cause floods etc), war, terror and instability, increase of natural disasters, magnetic poles of earth shifting and so on.

Deep Impact??

When I watched the clips about Planet X, the first thing that came to my mind is the movie "Deep Impact". A movie about a comet that is discovered heading towards Earth. The plot describes the attempts to prepare for and destroy a Comet, which is expected to collide with the Earth and cause an Extinction Level Event. (An extinction event is a sharp decrease in the number of species in a relatively short period of time.) In the movie, the government conducted a lottery to select 800,000 ordinary Americans to join 200,000 pre-selected scientists, engineers, teachers, artists, soldiers and officials. These people would be part of a worldwide effort to save mankind from extinction.

In the weeks and months that follow, not only these few individuals but everyone in the world must struggled to find meaning for their lives in the face of looming catastrophe. A plan was set in motion to establish underground shelters, "Arks," in which a fortunate few may survive the impact even if all other life on Earth was wiped out. As the day of cataclysm grew nearer, all the range of human reactions was evoked -- from panic to noble resignation to fate.

"Deep Impact" is the story of the world's reaction to a death sentence.

Will this be the same situation in 2012? Will there be chaos? or like I said is this only a conspiracy... Do you think this will happen?

Planet X and the year 2012

Planet X? Have you heard of it?

I grew up believing that there are 9 planets in the Solar System. Until recently, Pluto is considered as a dwarf planet. So, there are eight planets left in the Solar System (Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune) and 277 known extra solar ones. The Solar System also contains at least three dwarf planet (Ceres, Pluto, and Eris).

Now, where does Planet X belong? Is there a real Planet X?

According to wikipedia.org, "Planet X is a large hypothetical planet beyond Neptune. It was postulated to explain apparent discrepancies in the orbits of the gas giants, especially those of Uranus and Neptune. Those discrepancies were mostly resolved by measurements made in the 1980s.



The "X" in the name represents an unknown and is pronounced as the letter, as opposed to the Roman numeral for ten. At the time of its conception there were eight known planets in the solar system; its existence, first as a ninth planet, and then from 1930 until its demise as a tenth. Although Pluto was discovered as a result of the search for Planet X, it is not considered Planet X. Neither is Eris, even though it was at one point considered for reclassification as a planet under a proposal outlined by the International Astronomical Union.



In popular culture, "Planet X" has become a stand-in term for an undiscovered planet in the solar system."


Now we already what Planet X is , but what is the connection between Planet X and the year 2012?

Based on Maya calendar, a system of distinct calendars and almanacs used by the Maya civilization of pre-Columbian Mesoamerica, and by some modern Maya communities in highland Guatemala, something big will happen in 2012.
